Do we get additional setup time? 

Packages after 4pm may have flexibility with this if you have ordered a large package from the venue, additional setup and teardown hours are not included in DIY rental parties. 

Where is parking for the guests? 

Guest Parking is directly in front of the building for long term parking, if you have lots of additional guests than parking or book on a busy day we can arrange parking nearby with another lot that we secure on busy downtown days. Do you allow Outside Vendors? 

Yes, we allow Outside Vendors for all vendors except bartending. We only use in house bartending services that also maintain our venue's rules 

How do you handle rescheduling or canceling? 

We are a non refundable venue, your payment is not a deposit it is a retainer for the day and goes towards your rental.  We do reschedule for free on different days that are comparable in pricing one time only.   Examples Thursday for Thursday (discounted days are not redeemable for non discounted days) example standards Thursdays are not equally priced to Thanksgiving. 

How does the bar work? 

You will need to speak to our team about the preferred drinks you plan on having.  We allow 2 pre made drinks per bar under 50 guests as well as beer and wine. You must supply all of your ice, alcohol, and your mixers unless you have done a bar package versus paying an hourly fee, which in that case you would only bring the alcohol. 

How does pricing work with decorations? 

If you pre - select a mood board from us, you will get just what is listed IN your mood board.  It is important to remember that customization is important for super detailed events.  Florals ARE NOT included in any setup and incur an additional fee on top of your package UNLESS it is already built in.

Our goal is to grow Downtown Social beyond one space and into a collection of unique, historic spaces that deserve a little love, attention, and new life.  As we grow, we hope to create opportunities for women to use their creativity, talents, and passion for design and decor to bring unforgettable celebrations to life.  We want to find beautiful spaces with stories to tell and transform them into places where people can gather, celebrate, and create memories.  When you support Downtown Social, you aren't just supporting a venue or an owner - you are supporting a team of talented young women who pour their dreams into every event.  Every celebration helps us continue building into something bigger and better for historic communities and people's most special days.
