Our Venue
Welcome to the Downtown Social! We serve as both a gift shop and a wedding and event venue.
Here in the historic district of Smyrna TN we design parties between 2 entire buildings as well as a a fully turfed space that creates a unique experience both in and out of the venue
The Traditional Room
This space is complete with white walls, Crystal clear chandeliers, acrylic clear chivari chairs, cedar window benches, a prep kitchen with a passover bartop, hand crafted trim customized for the space, exposed beams and historic floors both from the 1890's
This space both has historic charm as well as inclusive features that makes your event run smoothly.
This space comes with 48 chairs
2 benches that can seat 5 each
and the space indoors alone can be seated with 80 people max
The Kitchen comes inclusive with a mini fridge, microwave, cutting boards, and knife set

This Space comes complete with Tricorn Black Glossy walls, textured foyer room, a window bench space with seating , 6 up lights for the dance floor space with color changing options, customized trim fitted perfectly for our space, a kitchen/bar space with granite countertop, historic hardwood floors and exposed beams from the 1890's as well as 2 separate get ready spaces for the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. (Room can be rented without Bridal Space)
Space can be rented individually with tables and chairs included or left as a dance & bar space and also has knives and cutting boards
This space seated capacity is 42 guests total for seated spacing mingling and dancing could be closer to 75
Outdoor Space
This space is a fully turfed area with one of the coolest murals in Smyrna Tennessee as well as a completely covered warm draped light area over above. Our Horse Trailer that has been converted as a bar can be used during an event as a bar or a serving station or a great opportunity to have your guests check in here with a guest book for an outdoor greeting area.
(Jenny the horse trailer must be reserved for weekends as it does get rented out for seperate events often)
This area comes with one large garbage can
this space can be rented on its own and can seat up to 50 people on the turf or it can be used with cocktail tables
This space is rented out for our premium rental cost in the evenings
It can be rented out by itself with a portable restroom on select evenings
Get Ready Spaces

If you are needing a space to get ready during your wedding we have 2 different spaces that can be used.
Our Bridal Space includes 4 vanity spaces as well as a bench for the window that can seat up to 5 so there can be 11 people in the bridal space at one time including the photographer
This space can also be used for Prom get ready or for a make up artist that is needing a home space monthly rental
The Groom's Space is a versatile space with enough space for 10 people at a time to get ready with one large mirror and room for people to sit and play cards while waiting on the ladies
Gift Shop Parties
Our space, if you haven't figured this out by now is a one stop shop for shopping gifts, getting alterations, getting your vendors, as well as getting all of your gear for your event.
Even in the case that we can't help you we can help you make a registry, do your invitations, or anything else that is event related including recommending you to another space.
Our gift shop creates opportunities for individuals that are working on a budget and also would like to have a space for a smaller group of people. Have a party at our gift shop space for a super affordable rate with the shop open to the public or closed to the public.
The space can accommodate up to 20 at one time for the party as well as creating space for your desserts, gifts, and your food
